From A to B sometimes via C...........!!

Transport was invented as a way from getting from a point A to a point B, sometimes via a point C. Often these places had addresses.
Walking was the earliest method of getting around on foot. It became uncomfortable in bare feet though, so footwear was invented.
" The Romans were known for their roads. The roads became very popular, especially on Bank Holidays. Road works had to be carried out. A soldier would keep watch in each direction, whilst a third man was employed to hold up the traffic lights. There are five lights as you can see - from top to bottom these were:

'Stop',
'Hold Steady'
'Be patient',
'Not long now'
'Go'. "

Got this old roman picture from a history site.In the era of every thing going mobile. The concept of Mobile traffic lights ;-)
